I don't need to make anymore arguments. This season speaks for itself. You're telling me his picks don't matter, and I'm saying they do. Either way I'm tired of seeing a poo product on the field, and I'm tired of seeing an ungrateful QB, that's too emotionally selfish to lift up his teammates, and too sulky to be proactive on the sidelines.

His mistakes and his negative energy are tearing the franchise apart in the locker room. I don't understand how he's going to take us to the Superbowl. All I see is an occasional highlight, followed by a bunch of turnovers, and no guts. When the elite qbs throw a pick they're looking at pictures and consulting with coaches, this guy shuts out his team.

I was equally excited as everyone else when we drafted him. But his growth trajectory has been red flagged. Now I'm scared that as a franchise we're going to wait until it's too late to do anything about it. Just like we did with Delhomme.

This does start from the top, and Hurney does need to go. Maybe this is unfair to Newton because secretly he never was the answer, but it doesn't change the fact that if this negative trend continues we need to go into a different direction, or at the very least bring in some real competition for him instead of having lame duck backups.
