I think it's up to the veterans, regardless of whether they are announced "leaders", to get in Cam's face when he becomes a child who just had his favorite toy taken from him.

As a military vet myself, I don't really care much for comparing sporting events to "war" and the athletes as "soldiers"... at the end of the day, athletes shake hands and go home, soldiers do not.
