Laying in a hospital bed

Started having severe stomach pains wed. They continually got worse so I went to the er this am. Forgot the clinical name but I lacerated my intestines and the are going to have to do surgery. The pain meds suck and are ineffective.

Oh man... I know its painful. I hope you aren't allergic to any antibiotics because that's gonna be your diet for a while. I hope you get well soon.

Had to go to CMC for 3 days last December and it was brutal. The nurses hate you for hitting the 'call nurse' button when you are trying to change the channel. You would think they would separate the 2 by now.

Thx for the well wishes. Don't know how it happened. All doc said was it will prob happen again. On dilauded (sp) it just makes me sleepy. Trying to kill the infection before they operate.

Unless it's some kind of disease, lacerated intestines (you sure it's not "ulcerated"?) are most commonly the result of some sort of trauma- a fall or blow to the gut- something with some force.

diverticulitis is what they are calling it and it tore. Still holed up in the hospital. No food or drink until....
