I know we aren't planning on changing to a 3-4, but if you take a hard look at our defensive players, it is possible we could shift that way. We did draft a guy that could play as an outside LB in the 3-4 or DE in a 4-3. The LB's are the key to a 3-4, and we have one of the best LB corps in the league. With 4 LB's we could put Beason and Conner in the middle, with Thomas and Peppers/Brown on the outside. Brayton and Johnson are bigger DE's, that could play a 3-4 end. The only weakness would be the lack of a true NT. If they run a couple sets out of the 3-4, Kemo could do it I guess, but not on a full time basis.

I know we aren't going to do it, just sayin the pieces aren't that far off.

I think that if we DID do it, it would be more like Davis and Beason in the middle, and Peppers and Brown on the outside.

Not gonna happen anyways though....
