As far as Cam or any other player goes, the NFL was here before you, it will be there after you. Ask Montana, Young, Bradshaw, Aikman.

It is, to me, beholden on Rivera to get Newton whatever he needs to be successful and it's beholden on Newton to accept it.

The thing is I think he's putting pressure on himself bc of people asking the question if he really wants to win. He's out there trying to prove to us that he do want to win, but by trying to he's proving it the wrong way. I believed that if no one ever questioned his attitude, he'd never act this way.

He is a very athletic and unique QB but I don't see the ongoing need to have this '1' savior type player...that's not how it works in the NFL. You don't pick one guy and think you have an answer...maybe in the NBA but what we're trying to build is a winning franchise and he's our franchise QB. There's more to it than just Cam and that's why the homers are just as stupid as the one's cutting him to shreds after a loss.

He played like sh*t and so did the 52 other guys and our coaches were terrible. So they need to refocus, don't let the national media disorient them, and look forward. Smitty put it the best.

Love it or hate it, 99.9% of our fans sees Cam as our Savior. Why'd you think everyone has a jersey of Cam or an avatar of superman.
