Are you sure you can handle a new GM taking a few years to 'rebuild' when you can't even handle two losses?

Thats truth right there. Whatever damage Hurney has done simply can not be repaired in 1 year. He handed out a bunch of guranteed money. Thats if you subscribe to the fact that lack of talent is our problem.

That's fine but he if he was removed YEARS ago maybe we wouldn't be where we're at

Lets not forget mini-rebuild just to prepare for lockout

Yes, I'm sure he would take an internet forum signed "Carolina-Chuck" really seriously. I'm sure he is crying and packing his things now.

If we can get a couple hundred of replies the Observer will pick up the sentiment for sure. It happens every week. All their stories address concerns brought up on this board.

Preparing for the lockout was just cutting deadweight. The rebuild started last year.

IF we scored more points than the Giants last night we would have won.

Our core is in place regardless of who the GM is moving foward. They all have a ton of guranteed money to ensure their spots. I am not even defending him, just letting you know that a new GM is either going to be set up for failure or success based off previous Hurney moves. So honestly I could care less if we replace him at this point. But whoever the GM is(Hurney or a new guy) needs to nail their draft picks,because we don't have cap space to make any major changes to the core. Also if we get a new GM he better have the authority to remove any coaches he does not feel are worthy of being here(and he better be very good at replacing them).

Ill gladly take a few years rebuilding. Not like we haven't been rebuilding for the last 5 years or anything and that is going just wonderful.

I was just thinking that. We shouldn't be in rebuilding mode tho. Our team is good enough to win now. Instead of bringing in players that can help us win now we are throwing 5th, 6th, 7th round draft picks, and undrafted rookies into starting positions and hoping for the best while praying they develop.

Cam was right about being ashamed of the product that was put out on the field. That product was sold to us by management. This is the bitch baby Hurney has breed. Until we get someone in the front office with a win now mentality then this is the kind of poo we can continue to expect. If you want your team to be fired up and passionate? You need to hire a staff that's fired up and passionate. You want your team to be hard nosed and tough? You bring in a staff in the same mold. Your team is a direct reflection of your staff.

Rivera needs to get it together. McD needs to get it together. B. Murph... I don't even know man, special teams has let me down for so long I pretend like you don't even exist. The game last night would have been manageable had the D stepped up a little bit. We couldn't tackle, we couldn't cover, and we couldn't apply pressure. Fundamentals look to be beyond comprehension. We won't win poo until we fix this.
