Cowherd just trashed Cam

Recommended Posts

The same Colin Cowherd that has been on Cam's d*ck for the last 6 months?

We have a bad game and Cowherd announces Cam is garbage the next morning, why am I not surprised?

We torch ATL next week with the read-option and Cowherd's opinion (which is worth nothing) will change (again).

Nothing to see here... keep moving.

Cowherd said before the season that he could see us winning the Super Bowl and Kalil had nothing to be ashamed of, and that Cam would be an elite quarterback.

Pick a side, Colin. . .

I think Colin was assuming Cam would do more drop back passing instead of the college-style read option, QBs lining up at receiver... really what's sad to me is that I can think of a half dozen or so colleges with more sophisticated offenses than what we've shown so far.

I just hope Cam doesnt fall into the stereotypical black quarterback category that doesn't have the work ethic of the elite QBs in the league ala McNabb, Vick, Russell, Freeman (last year).

I've been saying all along he does not have a great command of our offense. You watch Eli Manning before the snap and he does 15 times more things at the line than Cam has ever done as far as making sure everyone knows their blocks and picking a good play.

He needs to grow up fast but it looks like he's moving backwards and not forwards, looking more and more like college Cam than Cam from last year.

C'mon now. I don't think he is sacrificing his reputation to say things he really doesn't feel. I think he really has doubts about Cam as a long term success at this point

Until Cam stops with his me first attitude he will not improve....

Sadly it appears that they were right he is very immature.

Cam deserves every inch of trashing after last night's performance. Can you imagine our own review of say... Tony Romo, had he played like that last night? Cowherd is a gimmick though. He gets paid to make you mad. And, as seen by this thread, he does his job wonderfully. But you can't fault him for any criticism of Cam. So far this season Cam has been less than stellar.

He had a 100 rating heading into last night!

He probably still leads the NFL in yards per attempt.

This is what really concerns me....

There's no pre snap adjustments. There's no smarts. There's just this incredible athlete playing QB, beating them with unreal throws and size and speed. Never calls a timeout bc he sees something he doesn't like. Never draws the D off side.

I don't know. This is my huge concern with cam now. That he is just an all world athlete but not a "10" in smarts that it takes to be a legendary QB.

I've listened to him on and off again for a couple of years now, yeah he is a shock jock an interesting and smart one but a shock jock none the less, all you have to do is listen to his delivery and follow his format.

The reason I've been on and off with him is that I have to many come on man moments with him and just cants stand it, he's the rush limbaugh of sports radio.

The best sports radio show ive ever listened to was Tony Kornheiser's show, now that's quality sports talk radio, but it's not syndicated only a local show in DC. But in actual relevent sports talk blows everyone else out of the water.
