I enjoyed it.. I'm no fan of Al Pacino.. Just don't like him in his later years.

The scene where LT saws the suv in half isn't edited, they show it for those saying it was cut out.

Me too. I thought that "The Replacements" was a better football movie than that piece of crap, and it was not even meant to be a serious football movie.

I have to rent that one, never saw it. Saw We Are Marshall on DVD recently, liked that one.

Pacino was a terrible casting decision as a football coach.

I thought so too. He would have been better cast as a crazy GM or something. Also, I hate Cameron Diaz as an actress and she sucked in this as well so that didn't help.

I'll take the original of "The Longest Yard" for best all around football flick. "The Best Of Times" with Robin Williams and "Horsefeathers" with the Marx Brothers are the funniest, to me anyways. I liked "The Replacements" and "Any Given Sunday" too. All good movies indeed!

TPF, I think you mean "Invincible" or something about that Vince Papale (SP???) on the Eagles under Vermeil. That was a pretty good movie actually.
