D hasn't played well at all this year. Godfrey made a nice play in a vacuum. Look at what Beason and Godfrey did last week outside their INTs.....they both consistatly are playing weak.

Don't even know what Nakamura is on the field....he makes Godfrey look like a decent option

Yep, Beason and Godfrey led the team in tackles v the Saints, but mostly because they blew plays and had to clean up their own messes. I think you can't discount their interceptions though, because those two plays did win us the game, despite the sloppy play otherwise. All in all, I think it balances out to mediocre play, poor play with flashes of brilliance.

Naka though, needs to be used exclusively on running downs.

I hate it, but Beason has been one of the worst offenders. Kuechly has been our best tackler by far, and that's not good.

All I can say is this Panthers team better learn from these 2 ass whopping they got from the Bucs and the Giants and do a whole lot better or this will be a long season for them. Guys need to get pissed off and start doing better.
