2010 should be the Panthers biggest draft ever!

The perfect scenario:

2 1st round picks for Peppers

A bunch of compensatory picks

possible 3rd for hangman if he starts and does well

extra 6th from the Raiders

im probably leaving out a couple of picks, but '10 is looking like a lot of picks for the panthers

(all of which we should trade for bradford and cody):reddevil:

Imagine if we could trade Jake+Pep for #1 Overall Pick and get Bradford! OMGZ, WE SHOULD TOTALLY DO THAT!!! WHAT IS HURNEY THINKING!!! HE BETTER DO THAT!!! AFTER THAT WE WOULD PICK UP HAYNESWORTH AND ASOMUGHA BECAUSE WE HAVE TONS OF CASH AND THEN SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME BECAUSE IF YOU STACK YOUR TEAM WITH TALENT EVERY YEAR LIKE THE COWBOYS AND SKINS THEN YOU WIN EVERY GAME!!! RRRRRGGGGRRRRMMMMMMSGEHUOSGE!!!

BTW, I'm not mocking anyone in particular.

another draft with no 1st rounders and no qb drafted

A few weeks ago, Mr.Scot posted a story from a couple years ago, about how Joe Gibbs & The Redskins in his first tenure had no 1st rd picks in 8 years and won three Superbowls. 1st rd picks are overrated.

If Peppers didn't rate 2 1st round picks, or even a single first rounder after the year he had in '08, what makes anyone think a team is going to do so after next year, regardless of how many sacks he may have? We may be lucky to get a 2nd or even 3rd rounder at this point. He'll be a year older next year, and he has a rep around the league of not having much of a work ethic, not to mention the headaches he's causing this year. My prediction is that he'll be released after this year. It's not outside the realm of possibility that he may RE-SIGN with us after that, but I can't see him being paid 16 million plus after this year, by us. And evidently, no other team feels that way about him either..
