Chud the Dud and McDerp - Coaching Failure at its Best

As far as I'm concerned...if you quit watching, your opinion isn't worth crap. This fan base doesn't need anymore quitters on it.

Your opinion is duly noted and subsequently ignored. What this forum needs is honest and frank discussion, not name calling and senseless bashing.

It's painful for any fan to watch their team crash and burn on the national stage. Cut me some slack bro. I am stationed in Germany and the game was on at 330am. If I was a quitter, I wouldn't have got up at 2am to watch. Not going to waste precious sleep while we are getting blown out in the fourth quarter.

Please try and contribute more than just name calling in your next post. Thanks.

I am behind this topic 100 percent. I refuse to believe we have to eliminate 60 percent of the playbook because Stewart is not active. Line up and execute some straight ahead running plays with a lead fullback. Why did we go and get a fullback if we were gonna do this mularkey all season. Secondly, how do we dictate reaction against the Saints and play "Angel Soft" coverage against the Giants? Everybody is bashing Norman and Gamble, but we were zoning behind the first down marker all night. There is something basically wrong with that. I hope they take this ten days to come up with a game plan suited directly to facing the Atlanta Falcons and not this vanilla pre-season nonsense.

Coaching has been terrible all around, all year. Against New Orleans, we were lucky to find an even more unprepared team in complete turmoil dealing with suspensions.

WOW! As much as it pains me to admit this, I wish we never got rid of John Fox!! Would Cam Newton be here? I doubt Fox would have drafted him like Rivera did, but that aside, I never remember us ever being this unprepared for any game under Fox. Did we loose with Fox? Absolutely! BUT Fox had us come out prepared to play.

Both this game against the Giants and the first game against the Bucs, Carolina just came out unprepared from top to bottom. We looked like deer in the headlights!!! Like I said, we escaped with the Saints.

Rivera certainly has a weakness there that needs major work!!!

Yeah, Fox really had a great gameplan and had us prepared to play Larry Fitzgerald in the 2008 playoffs, right?

The gimmick stuff worked last year because Cam was new and no one had an idea. While using them to keep defenses honest. It seems Chudz has a man crush on this.

I am with the OP and I have said it before. Chudz is a good offensive mind but I think sometimes he gets tunnel vision and I believe he is at his worst when he is offensive plan doesn't work. He is terrible at game time adjustments and half time adjustments.

Defensively, WTF, you cannot let any QB sit back there and have a hour to throw. It was sickening watching Eli play catch with his receivers.

I believe this team his the talent. Our coaches need to get their head out of their asses.

I was sick going to work and knowing we were getting our asses handed to us.

.

Defense? Do we have one? I went back and rewatched the Saints game. Blown assignments by the Saints and few dropped balls. Reverse that and they probably would have won. It wasn't a stellar Defensive performance by any stretch. Fast Forward to the Giants game and you have DBs too soft in coverage. No stunts or workable blitz schemes. I could go on and on.

I know we are capable of more because of what we did last year. I have seen it. Is it too much to ask to have the team prepared with a solid gameplan? I have no doubt things will straighten out, but right now, it's just atrocious.

I wouldn't put too much blame on the offense or Chud. Its hard to play offense when you are down 2 scores almost immediately 2 minutes into the game. The piss poor defense has not allowed our offense to get into any rhythm. They are off the field for long periods of time and down 2 touchdowns by the time they get back on it.

Anyone who labels a thread Chud the Dud and McDerp is either 12 yo or has the mental capacity if a 12 yo.

The play Thurs night was terrible and this team deserves to be called out for their sub par performance, including the coaching staff.

But grow the fug up and act like adults. The new members if this board are an embarrassment.
