Favorite Keurig Flavors

I found a flavor or two that I like and buy them at Sam's, much cheaper that way... and (esp at the office) the coffee is much, much better since you make it when you want it, and it doesn't just sit there.

Even if you buy it in bulk from amazon (108 cups at 70 bucks) it's the equivalent of paying 13bucks for a 14 oz bag of coffee. It's equates to about 4 dollars more than buying a bag of starbucks coffee from walmart. If the taste warrants the price for you, then go for it. I admit the taste is unparalleled for easy self made coffee. I'm just a poor bastard these days, and can't rationalize it into my budget.

No I hear you... but you're right.. for me, esp at the office, the quality and ease of making a cup outweighs the price issue.

The wife and I went through the cost calculation on it too. What we found was that the added expense of the Keurig cups was made up for in large part by the fact that we were not ever brewing coffee that was just going to get poured out. At the time we were probably pouring our a third of a pot in the morning and a third at night since neither one of us will drink coffee that's been left on to long or that was reheated once it cooled down.

That combined with the fact that we have radically different tastes in coffee it just made sense for us.

edit: and when I was brewing fresh at home I was never brewing Folgers. I was ordering 100% Kona form Hawaii, Tanzanian peaberries, and Kenya AA and making a blend that worked out to between 30 and 45 dollars a pound.

As for the OP

I drink a 8oz run of Tully's Kona blend and a 8oz run of Starbucks Sumatra in a large mug

Lately Ive been drinking a lot of the Zen Green Tea as well
