I could see Alexander, CJ, and Keiser manning the position for a long time. I even like Hardy is more of a DT/DE hybrid role. DEs take a bit of time to develop. We are seeing a strong wave forming.

Honestly I'm not too worried about his size, the guy lines up at DT on some third downs and still generates pressure. Ideally, yes he could be a little taller, but there have been plenty of guys to succeed at DE who aren't freaks like Pep was.

Alexander's size is almost perfect, and he can probably add 10 lbs in the offseason. His best attribute (something he shares with Norman) is unusually long arms. That is a huge benefit to DE's (and CB's).

Agree with others that he is going to push Hardy and I like the idea of using Hardy more at 3 tech. He's a little light, but can still be effective in obvious passing situations.
