If we didn't need Captain to play gunner, then why is he playing gunner? He's just saying that gunner is a role where he's needed, so his focus should be on playing that position. I don't see how his statement is equal to "Colin Jones sucks, so they need me to be gunner." Must everything offend you? You're so delicate.

I think he will be gone after this year anyway, reality is where better off just drafting a new nickel guy or somebody to replace gamble in the future rather than give him a new contract. Especially if they choose to give Hogan one more shot as well.

False dichotomy. There is a middle ground, which would be an answer like "I'm going to work my butt off to get back into the starting spot." He didn't say anything like that, he just whined and then insulted our gunners.

You do realize that there can be more than one gunner in a play, right? "No gunners" can mean that we have no depth for gunners, and that they need him to play that role. What of it, anyways? You really think someone on the team is going to be offended by that? People with sense know that he wasn't trying to insult anybody with that statement.
