to be objective, someone saying you did something bad when they have something to gain by saying it, doesn't really prove anything. unfortunately, there isn't a system in place to get a jury-equivalent to review these statements for their truth. oh well. suck it saints. just hope we keep our noses clean.

I think we need to see this piece of paper to know what it really says. Could be "I gave Vilma $10K to waive around and use a prop to motivate the players. At no point did we ever intend for it to be used as a 'bounty' or to actually pay someone to hurt another player."

what you have said is correct, but wasn't my point. you can be subject to whatever consequences the nfl or the legal system can dream up, but that does not mean we have to believe those statements. evidence that you lied and your ability to convince your peers is an entirely different story.
