The "I just don't see it guys"

I havent seen this being praised by too many on the Huddle as of yet.

There was a lot of "Ron Edwards is an old ineffective nobody" talk from a many huddlers who never have seen him play a snap for us or in his career.

Can we acknowledge that Ron Edwards(along with Dwan of course) has help stabilized this line? Drew could not step up in the pocket like last season avoiding all edge pressure that Hardy and CJ got on him in 2011.

On Sunday Drew stepped up and the G-C was pushed in his face and he had to bail the pocket only to fling his incomplete legal-intentional grounding passes.

I cannot say I felt bad for his limping ass after his sack either... Lead apologist of a bunch of clasless jerks.

Its real sad, that a team that represents a city that is built under sea level, actually plays with the class of a team well beneath the ocean floor.

Beach Ball >>>> Fua & McClain

Beach Balls have a lower drafted "bust rate" than DTs.

This shows that like Rivera has constantly stated...you do not need elite guys at DT to make it happen.

Gerald McCoy looked great week 1 but he has missed 3/4th of his games with terrible injuries...

Not many Suh's in the last 15 years.. DT typically takes time to develop and too much to invest in a first round DT.

Just think, we could have Donatari Poe being blocked to the ground for us instead of KC!

D'wanron & Alexander look like great new assets for the time being and maybe longer to help CJ & Co.

Plus we got Keiser, Applewhite, & Hardy. Maybe one of them develops into something this year

Compared to where we were last season, the d-line seems vastly improved...at least on the collapsing pocket ability

Not going to be happy till we get Haloti Ngata and Ndamukong Suh as our DT's.

Why isnt Hurney trying to offer Armanti and Fua for this deal?!

Heck throw in a 5th. I can do his job better!! - as seen on The Huddle! Sadly many, many times....

@Beach: I agree all of those guys are now assets..Alexander is coming along nicely and Keiser makes all his snaps count. Actually DE is a position of depth...Applewhite can fill in at LBer too..nice roster Mr. rivera and Mr. Hurney( I mean give Rivera more than a lockedout offseason to prove himself)

On top of that we should trade Clausen to Detroit for Calvin Johnson.

    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
    • In my dream, we somehow luck into a top 2 pick and someone wants a QB bad and doesn’t want anyone else to jump them. Somehow we’ll probably screw up the picks anyway, but it would be nice to do even partially what Chicago did to us. We’d have to lose out, which is a decent possibility unless Tampa is resting. We need Atlanta to stay within a game because Atlanta beat Tampa twice. The rest of the draft slots are who knows because Jax plays the Raiders and then Tennessee and you never know who will rest starters. I think we are top 7 unless we somehow pull out 2 more wins. The 4 win teams have higher SOS and there is only one 5 win team with the same SOS. If we win 1 of 3, we still should stay in top 7. If we lose out and the Jax games work for us, we can easily be top 3.
