nope, if you dont have anquan and fitzgerald your team is a failure, despite the steelers winning it all with a QB who had a lower rating than delhomme all year and 2 starting receivers with lower numbers than ours, and a laughable backfield in comparison to ours.

yeap, we have no weapons besides steve smith, all is lost.

heck even with smitty as your ONLY weapon you figure he wins 2-3 games a season by himself.

Not only that, but I am fairly convinced that we have quality receivers besides Smith and Muhammad. And's not a matter of Jake not throwing to them so much as it is a product of our run-first system (and the fact that we should rightly feed one of the NFL's best receivers every chance we get).

But when it comes down to it, I think if we had to rely on Robinson, Jarrett, Rosario, King, etc. to catch some balls, they would. Last year was sort of funny: we finally had options to throw to besides Smith, but it was the running game that truly allowed Smith to shine.

only issue is that the steelers have had the #1 defense all year and have had a top 5 defense almost every year for the last couple of years. they can afford to have a bad offense when you have a THE BEST DEFENSE.
