Brandon LaFell

From Wikipedia:

I'll just leave this here since you don't seem to have a very good grasp of how football works...

WR =/= Speed

WR = Speed+Size+Hands+Route Running+Blocking+Heart

LaFell may not have great speed (+0), but he has very good size (+1), hands(+1) and blocking(+1). His route running is also pretty good and still improving(+.5). Heart is, to a degree, an unknown. He has never been asked to carry a team on his back, but he has consistently come up clutch on big 3rd downs(+0).

Right now #11 pulls a 3.5/6 with room to improve...

Smitty is well on his way to a golden jacket with a 5/6.

Why some insist on dismissing LaFell simply because he doesn't run a 4.4 is beyond me.

If not for being on an iPhone, pie, you would get it all.

Lafell looked great today but he's still slow as hell! They have found some routes he runs well and it work but you don't see him running down the sideline past people.

He is as fast as several current and previous NFL receivers, such as Ricky Proehl, Wes Welker, Keyshawn Johnson, and Moose. Speed is a great asset, but there are other things that are just as important, if not moreso.

Great day for LaFell looks like he is going to be a very solid #2 for years to come. As for our future #1 how likely is it we dish out some bucks to get Greg Jennings an have smitty in the slot.

We could also get Watkins or Hopkins from Clemson when the time comes.

I would love to get Jennings though, that would be epic.
