Ref pulled from Panthers-Saints* game

LOL, looked at the FB page and it's hilarious. In an interestingly weird twist, apparently he went to Nicholls State for college... When he announced he would be working the Panthers v Taints game, guess who commented? Mark Carrier. And he said to look for him on the Panthers sideline, as apparently they knew each other from college I guess...

I don't mind refs being fans, but they have to be compelled to fully disclose their allegiances. It's only fair.

Truth is, I honestly find it unbelievable for any ref to not favor one team over another whether they are a fan or not. It's human nature. But, you can't have a guy out rocking a team's gear and professing his love for them and then let him work their games. I'm not sure they can let him work anymore games now either unless they move him exclusively to AFC games.

He didnt know he was going to be reffing in the NFL when the pictures were posted. Going online to talk to Saints* fans though... well that was stupid for a variety of reasons.

GUYS!!!!....GUYS!!!!....GUYS!!!!!......i think you are all being just a little unfair and just plain mean. it's his job(for now) and i'm sure he'd perform in a completely fair manner. in fact i would expect him to stay just as well within the bounds of the rules as the team he pulls for has for years. i expect him to be just as honest and show the same level of sportsmanship as the Saints** org has for several years.
