If anyone wants to go shark fishing come up to Maine next summer. 20 miles off-shore I caught a 12-foot blue shark and an 8-foot blue shark this past summer.

I've never intentionally set out to fish for sharks but have caught a few. Nothing massive, the largest was a 3 foot black tip. She was fun to reel in. Caught some rays inadvertently also.

My ex fg's daddy would salt n pepper the fillets with buttermilk and a lil flour. deep fry in a big pot.

Eat with homemade tatar sauce and a hamburger bun..

What kind?

We've caught some big blacktips and spinners right off the beach this year. Lots of fun-- we release them though. The legal sized ones are too much trouble for me to clean and eat, but I may have to keep one somewhere down the line.
