The Bucs running allowed them to control the clock..and that's essentially what you look for when you run the ball.

I don't trust the Saints** defense at all.. this could end up being a shoot out in all honesty. They are allergic to stopping the run

3.6 ypc doesn't allow you to control the clock, them winning the turnover battle with the 2 ints and blocked punt allowed them to.

If you can average 3.4 yards per carry or more, you will generally move the chains, thus controlling the clock. The turnovers did help. Our running game wasn't the most effective due to a great run defense you guys had, but it was steadily picking up enough to move the chains.

If you carry for 3.6 yards on the first three downs, you move the chains. Controlling the clock is exactly what that gets you.

How can any analysis of the Saints** not talk about the nightmare that is Jimmy Graham? He and Sproles are likely to cause more problems than Colston.

Because a lot of times its just rehashing common thoughts.. Sort of like "to beat the 49ers you got to stop the run", There's other ways to attack a ball club.

The Redskins beat the Saints** most of the day by playing cover 1 and blitzing. They shut the Saints** running attack down and on 3rd down they always sent a blitz from somewhere. There CBs did a nice job in coverage and they made Brees beat them with Jimmy Graham.

Its not what RG3 did to the Saints* as much as what the Defense did to Brees.

Until week 1 I had no idea that our offensive line was capable of performing so poorly. If our o-line had played well we certainly could have beaten the Bucs. To my horror our o-line, with 2 Pro-Bolwers, had a complete meltdown. If that happens again against the Saints*, then we'll get blown out of BOA.

Assuming our o-line has a better time against the Saints*, I think it will be a close game with a slight edge in favor of the Saints*. Their passing attack is simply better than ours imo, and you never know when our boneheaded specials will cause a disaster.

The x-factor in the game is Cam's ability to make plays by scrambling, rushing, and extending plays. He's great in the red zone, and he can keep the Saints* defense on their heels with his threat to scramble.
