stewart updates

Jonathan Stewart (ankle) returned to Panthers practice Wednesday.

Stewart was limited, but it's a positive sign for his Week 2 status after he failed to get in any practice time last week. A graduation to full practice either of the next two days would be a strong indication he'll play against the Saints***. For now, consider J-Stew a game-time decision. Thankfully for fantasy owners, Carolina is playing at 1ET Sunday.

seemed to get mixed messages as to how much work stewart put in at yesterday's practice, but rotoworld is cleaning up what they reported...

Coach Ron Rivera said Jonathan Stewart (ankle) "took his normal reps" during Wednesday's practice.

Stewart was a full participant in practice. "He looked good. He started a little slow in terms of cutting; he was a little apprehensive I think," Rivera said. "As practice went on (the ankle) loosened up more and more. I expect him to be out there (Thursday)."
