Bucs Conspiracy

Alright, so I have absolutely no proof on this at all but I came up with a theory as to why the Bucs were able to destroy us so thoroughly. Yes, they tackled great all day and Josh Freeman was hot early, but it seemed to me that they knew when and where we were trying to go on a lot of plays.

It just so happens that we were training about an hour drive from Tampa all week because of the DNC in Charlotte. Does anyone else think that perhaps the Bucs could have eyes and/or ears on our practices and were able to know our gameplan and/or play calls before the game even started?

I just imagine how easy it would be for a Bucs assistant or whoever to at least put a microphone or small camera near or on our practice field for the week. I only say this because they had our number. It just seemed the playcalling for the Bucs was too perfect. Thoughts?

Please take off your tin foil hat.

I don't believe the government can hear my thoughts but I DO believe in aliens sooooo.... you might be a little right about me. Better to be skeptical than a sheep that accepts everything blindly.

Actually, yes. You may be on to something there....good observation.

Thanks, my friends were like "No Way, you're retarded bro" at first then after the game they were like "I don't know man, you might be right."

You're not the only one with this idea...

My bad, I don't check past the front page to see if I'm reusing a topic. Thanks biscuit!

I knew I'd get flamed for this. I'm not saying it's necessarily true, just putting it out there as a possibility. The truth is no one on this board will probably ever know if the Bucs were spying on the Panthers or not and I'm not saying they did.

I'm just saying it's a little bit suspicious that they had us totally out-gameplanned when we have a more talented coaching staff and players (in my opinion.) And it's not like cheating is unheard of in the NFL.

"If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying," isn't that what they say in NASCAR?

Spy gate 2012!!!!!!!! I knew it

I don't think so every snap they 2 or 3 lineman in our backfield and most of the time coming untouched that alone will blow up any option or fake that's going on. My problem is why we did not counter this pressure with quick slants and drag routes i am still baffled .

    • I don't know--they represent the entire body of players and this be determined, if it got to that point, by a vote of all veterans and rookies who are part of the union.  If the elite players are getting 50% of all cap increases, the non-elite players with shorter careers might want a bigger slice of the pie and vote accordingly.  To say that the Union would not go for it is not something I agree with--it would be the union that proposes it--based on a proposal and a majority vote.  If the veteran players vote for an equal distribution framework, then all 53 on a roster benefit from a cap increase that is applicable to the entire team.  Not sure how labor laws might be impacted...
    • Carter, Graham, or Walker and I might roll the dice hoping Walker is around later.  If Hunter is there at 8, we are about to get a really nice haul for trading back.
    • Oh well. That's his fault if he wants to eat up all the cap space and have no protection as a result. A big part of why Brady has all those rings is that he generally took team friendly deals. Not that he wasn't making a mega ass ton of money, but he wasn't leaving his team cap strapped due to his contract while Peyton Manning generally tried to negotiate for every dime he could get forcing the Colts to make tough decisions.
