But, he's a rookie, going up against a very good defensive line. He'll learn.

Campbell is our backup RT. He wouldn't be switching positions and Bell has the body and ability to excel inside, IMO. And his "mental condition" didn't appear to affect him at all during the preseason. He looked really good.

With as bad as it looked yesterday, what do you chalk it up to? Just a bad game? Or do you think it's schematic? Lack of chemistry? Or personnel?

The OL got punched in the face all day long. Could not run caused the team to be one dimensional. I really think this is what decided the Panther's fate yesterday. Some of this is probably correctable but they have to start showing improvement quickly.

Byron Bell showed why the FO were happy to move on from Otah yesterday, a very competent performance in the passing game and was kinda on his own in the running game.

Never understood why we didn't tender Schwartz last off-season, he played quality at RG in 2010, one of the best in the league. Instead we stuck with Hangman who has always been a great 6th lineman but not a starter.

Amini, he will develop, he's had some highs and lows already in his career, but the highs are very high indeed (and vice versa). If he can develop some consistency he will be a great guard.

Gross and Kalil played ok, they are very good lineman at their respective positions there.

I guess I'm saying credit the Buccs DLine and yes our two guard positions struggled mightily.

That play is a microcosm of the whole game to me as far as our O-line goes. Should we blame Cam for forcing throws when he gets decent protection a small percentage of the time? I would be like holy poo, I'm not getting sacked I'm gonna bomb it.

Having Amini start at G was always gonna be risky in the short term. His pass blocking needs work. He's never seen cat quick moves like the one's McCoy put on him yesterday.

Long term he has a chance to develop into a Pro Bowl guy. But like all rookies, he's gonna have to take his lumps.
