But what are penalties and negative plays most often a result of? Lack of discipline. Many people on this board who have been to camp practices over the last two years say it is uber-laid back and easy going for the most part. Then we get these generic responses from RR about our problems. That's where I start getting concerned about his coaching.

I'm not commenting on Rivera's coaching abilities or demeanor or approach.....but most every time I've seen him speak to a media he seems like a deer in the headlights and tends to make little sense to me. It's like the words that come out of his mouth don't really match up with what he's likely thinking.

I try to keep my opinion limited on Rivera cause yes I do respect what he's established or trying to establish here, but I honestly believe if we don't atleast make it to the playoffs, we might want consider moving Rivera as our DC. At times I feel like it's like that already. Chud is our OC, Rivera is our DC... where's the HC?
