I think what hurt him was that Cam threw it into 4 defenders and replacement refs didn't want to give it to us. DB got there early though, no doubt.

So what you're reeeeeeeeeeeally saying is, it is what it is?

In some respects, Rivera attitude is right in that it is a long season and the things that lost them the game yesterday are correctable. However, the question remains why they weren't corrected during the game? Or, why they weren't better prepared to start the game? That is exactly what the preseason is for.

The Panthers were out-played and certainly out-coached yesterday. The play calling was an mind-boggling as it's been under Chud's watch.

It is a long season, but that was a game everyone in Panther Nation expected to win. They came out flat in the first half, and then woke up but still commited 3 really bad mistakes (2 INT's and a blocked punt) in the 2nd Half.

I'm not a world-is-ending guy, but it's hard to see that performance and be overly positive today. Rivera has encouraged high expectations for this team, and by doing so he is inviting criticism for not getting the job done.

Yesterday, they didn't get the job done. Reviving the fan base is great, but this season is about getting W's. Panther Nation deserved a better prepared team yesterday. Rivera can't and shouldn't hide from that.

The blocked kicks/punts happening as often as they have are really mind boggling to me. And the description for the one yesterday just seems unacceptable.

If I was a coach i would have destroyed the locker room at half time bitching out the team. I guess I wouldnt be a players coach and wouldnt last long. I still hate this ho hum awe swucks we lost, theirs next week. Im a cubs fan and I here next year every year. I cant have the panthers say the same damn thing!

It's a shame that Joe Adams will probably be the guy that saves Brian Murphy's job this year.
