Don Gregory and the Scouting Department

Mr. Scot

They report to Hurney, who makes the decisions.

The scouting department gathers the data. They lay it out for Hurney to make the call.

This falls squarely on Hurney's shoulders. I doubt he is not getting enough information to make a judgement.

More to it than even that, honestly. Hurney hires the scouts.

Hurney is far from blameless, but I have some big questions right now about the quality of our scouting staff.

It's not the amount of information Hurney's getting that concerns me. It's how good that info actually is.

Gregory isn't the problem. When we hit on picks, we usually hit big time... Our first rounders have always been big contributors aside from Otah. It's the gambling, high-risk, low-reward draft day trades and the numerous misses in the 2nd and 3rd rounds by Hurney that have hurt us.
