No, sandwiching Amini between our two best and most experienced offensive linemen was the right move, IMO. You really want a rookie and a second year undrafted FA to be the right side of our OL?

You can't put a rookie guard next to a 2nd year ufa RT. Hangman get's handled a lot, but he also helps Bell out a awful lot with assignments, just like Kalil and Gross helps Amini out.

Offensive line straight up sucks. The only good players on it are Gross and Kalil and Gross doesn't have much longer. Unfortunately I think we are going to have to use top draft picks on Oline the next few years. Which sucks because we need to use top picks on safeties and CBs.

I've been puzzled by the overall belief that they have a strong offensive line. We have two guys who belong there and are some of the top in the league. Then we have a guy with the brains and experience but should really be a backup followed by one of he worst tackles in the league and a rookie trying making a huge jump in the level of competition he is facing while learning a new position.

I've never been as high on Hangartner as some have even when he was at his best. He's been a big concern of mine all preseason, and yesterday? Ugh :(

Bell? I always thought he'd look better inside, but after yesterday it's hard to craft an argument that it'd make any difference.

My gut reaction after yesterday? Acquire a new RT by trade or somehow and either move Bell to RG or give someone else a shot. That said, it is only one game so I could understand being patient.
