Defense had flashes of greatness, mind you we had all of the starters in, and healthy.

I was impressed with the WR's, it seems we have a legit #2 & #3.

I don't think we could have made a better pick at 9 with Kuectly

The only 2 things I liked in Special Teams was Adams and TD

I will give the Bucs credit, they came at us in the first half, they are much improved from last year, but the Panthers were the better team, we just played like ass....

I don't think our defense was good; Tampa just tried to take the air out of the ball in the 2nd half. Had they run thier first team offense and tempo, they would have worn our defense out.

He had 4 yards per rush and no TDs, and it didn't help our offense couldn't sustain a drive. Our offense averaged 4.4 plays, 32 yards, and about 2 minutes 20 seconds per drive. You can't do that and expect your defense to play out of this world the entire game.

I saw alot of improvement on the defensive side of the ball. I think we need to take more advantage of our LB talent though.

Yes our defense was forced to stay on the field too long because our offense was not allowed to sustain drives.

But on the other hand, can I expect our defense to play out of this world the entire game under these conditions, YES! that's their job!!!. Your job expects you to work your but off wether you stayed up late watching the ball game or tied one on, it doesn't matter. I hate excuses! You get what you allow!

I don't care, it's 95 yards to a rookie. Thats not what I would expect from my defense. At the end of the day, the stat sheet reflect that the Carolin Defense gave up 95 yards rushing to D. Martin on opening day.
