Out coached, Out played

You cant be serious.

Its kinda weird when you think about it. If I were to tell you that we would not be able to score 14 point on the Buc's yesterday you would have laughed at me. Same goes for the Cards game and the total meltdown of Delhomme.

OK that was my best try at being the devils advocate.

Get used to it another un inspired no attitude half hearted try while Ron stands on the sideline looking clueless. Oh and don't forget the smiling and handshaking after the game with bucs staff.

Watched bits of a lot of games on direct tv. What's Ron role during the game? Stand there and say nothing for 4 qt.? Seems most coachs at least seem to be somewhat interested in the game...

Everyone makes excuses over and over....we've improved, we've even gotten better, but we're still not good enough. I expected our defense to improve the most after Fox departure. I was wrong, it was the offense instead. Today we couldn't run the ball at all, started off far to slow. I don't pretend to know the answers. I know the Panther players want to win, I know that our fans wants them to win, I just don't think that we know how to win.

My biggest problem is our defense, same as last year. Everyone said last year that our problems was due to so many injuries, another excuse. Our style of defense is ineffective. Our players aren't aggressive enough, our CB's give up far to much cushion and we play a soft zone coverage that gives up plays in the middle of the field. Man I hate this, I just want a winning team. Noone is going to give us wins, we've got to take em, we've got to create our idenity and impose our will without waiver....over and over and over again...

Horrible game... we have no excuses.

Cam is no longer a rookie.

Rivera is no longer a first-year coach.

We had an off-season to train and learn the system.

We are not decimated by injuries.

We have agreed on and installed Rivera and JR's philosophy.

The refs did not lose this game for us.

Mare is gone.

If we don't look better after Week 3, don't expect a turn around this year. The O-line was garbage today. The D-line was garbage today. The run game was garbage today. Those three things need to be present next week if we want to win. Period.

I don't think the Dline was garbage but the rest I agree with.

When was the last time we won an opening game? 2008? I don't remember. This was a total letdown due to all the hype we heard during the offseason. Cam all over ESPN, on commercials...all the talk on local sportstalk radio about how Chud is so awesome...Cam will win MVP...this team will be explosive...etc. Well, where is that talk now? Reality just slapped all of us in the face today. 10 yards rushing. Really?? No excuse. The good from this loss is that now we will once again be under the radar nationally, thank God! We can get back to EARNING respect. A 6-10 team deserves nothing, even with the rookie of the year on their roster. We beat bad teams with bad defenses last year. We deserve nothing. Hopefully this team will pick up their jock straps and get to work and play some football next week. The Saints* scored 32 points today...most of it late. They are still explosive. We ,can easily be 0-2 after next week. A very disappoining day indeed!

The Bucs do not have more talent than the Panthers. I still believe that.

They did have a better plan and played with heart. That's the summation of why the Panthers lost.

They came out with something to prove, and proved it.

The Panthers came out expecting to be handed a W. Good lesson for them.

The Panthers will win theIr home opener. Mark it down.

OK its marked down.
