Kuechly

FirstRoundPick

I predict that on Thursday Victor Cruz or Hakeem Nicks will burn Josh Norman on a few plays. Oh baby, I can't wait to see how right I am.

Norman will get burnt once, then he'll pick up a PI, then he'll deflect a pass, then he'll intercept a pass, then Manning won't put it near him again all game.

his peers aren't average linebackers...

thomas davis and jon beason are pro bowl material LBs while healthy. James Anderson isn't quite as good but he's still extremely consistent and vicious. Saying he plays about as well as his peers makes him at least an above average LB.

I'm sorry if I didn't make this clear but his peers meaning defensive players in his rookie class...sorry...

The Kuechly apologists make me shake my head. They are either hoping for injuries or have resulted to personal attacks.

The fact there is even a need for someone to defend a two game NFL "veteran", makes me shake my head.

Here I got it next time you get a job or promotion completely hone and craft the skills needed to succeed. Do this in about 6 months, versus all your peers (who by the way have done it longer than you), impress not only your boss and ownership, but the curly headed fug working at Big Lots in western Montana. (the curly headed fug is you in this example FYI)

You must complete this and demonstrate it at the highest level of competition and not make one single error or mistake. Gtfo

Here's a Luke play to review...

At about 2:50 in the 2nd qtr, Luke was covering out in the flat and in perfect position. At the last second, Brees saw he was all over the play, and threw the ball at his feet. If Drew didn't make that last second adjustment, Luke had a sure pick 6. He was just sitting there waiting on the ball.

Wait...this thread devolved into reconsidering our draft pick when we had two LBers coming back from injury and one gone to free agency...Beason with an achilles injury and Davis from a what...2nd or 3rd knee injury...and no MLB backup like Dan Conner there anymore?

Chill. Give the boy a season.

I meant to say intellectual integrity. People who call someone a bust after two games are either a troll or have no understanding of football.

Thomas Davis was a bust after two games. We had plenty of linebackers already. DeAngelo Williams was a bust after two games. We had Deshaun Foster. Ryan Kalil was a bust after two games. He can't block and we had tons of linemen.

Shall I continue? I'm not saying Kuechly is guaranteed to be a success but it is actually impossible to judge a player after two games.

Where has anyone called him a bust? This is what I mean with you people. The kid is struggling and was a bad pick but that does not make him a bust. Still I'm not going to sit around and act like he is contributing like a starter should cause he is not. He is our 4th best LB on the team.

The only ones defending him are the ones not willing to except he was a bad pick for this team.

He is 2 games into his career.......

Luke has had some good and bad. Everyone should of expected that.

Heck, the first 3 quarters on Sunday I think Beason looked average....and that is being kind. Beason had a good late 4th q. It is early....Beason will get back to full form....Luke will get adjusted to the NFL

Don't know what game you watched but Beason and Davis were flying around all day. Kuechly has been the slowest learner of all our rookies this year and he was our first pick. No doubt he will get better but it was a bad pick a 8.
