We have 2 running backs who's contracts combine for a whopping 79.5 million

When it comes to the running game, I'm not at all surprised by what happened. We do not run a John Fox offense anymore where our backs get 20+ carries each. On a good day in this offense, DeAngelo and Stewart may get a combined 18 carries to do what they do. DeAngelo needs at least 20 carries before he is really playing to his calibur, and he is not going to get that in this offense. Plus, we have no true fullback. I'm not surprise Williams barely had one yard rushing with only six touches.

The lack of rushing had less to do with the RBs and more to do with Chud not calling any running plays that didn't involve Cam or DWill spinning around like a disco diva before the handoff. It was all gimmick and college plays, no hand offs.

Tampa came prepared for a lot of stuff we threw at them last year. Like the Huddle, Chud thought for some reason they wouldn't. When we lined up conventionally and did our thing, we beat them like a drum time and time again. But Chud kept wanting to get cute and I'm putting a lot of this loss square in his shoulders.
