Guess the team isnt allowed to have a bad game

You are right, I apologize for wanting my team to win a game they are supposed to win. It's just a division loss, no big deal.

nobody is saying don't be upset we lost, no one here is happy we have an L.

We're saying put things into perspective.

The problem is, you're looking at this in the the micro... Look at it in the macro... We lose season openers we should win more often than not. Every year, we as fans, get our expectations up and expect at least an average to above average season realistically, and with this team, we should be above average... Yet, we come out yet again and lay an egg against a subpar team.

We have established a losing and lackluster tradition, yet as fans, we continue to hope and believe we'll fix it and get it right "the next time." Whether that be the next year, or the next season... And we rarely ever do. It sucks.

Look at Hurney's success in the top three rounds of the last few drafts.

Look at what he has done in free agency during the same period of time.

Imagine this team if Cam were a bust--by far the worst in the NFL. We have an aging Steve Smith, some WAY overpaid running backs, and a makeshift offensive line (aside from Gross and Kalil). Bad game?

Get used to bad games.

just wanted to let you guys know the fourm is laughing at you, not with you.

We made dumb mistakes the first half, played VERY well the second half, just still dumb mistakes from behind cost us.

Is it going to be any easier next week? Probably not. But can we we, definitely.

btw, the Saints**** were one of the Bucs 4 wins last year.

jus' saying.

Fug you. Everyone laughing like you are the one who can't face the truth. The one who acts surprise to when we be drafting top 10 again next year.

SHUT UP MR. KNOW IT ALL!!!!!!

WE'RE BAD!!! FACE IT.

a team like Washington with a rookie QB can be a team of N.O. caliber.

a team as bad as Cleveland stayed in the game with Philly.

and us? the Bucs, foreal.

fug you

Dude... seriously? Get a grip or go drink yourself out of your despair. The Panthers forfeited on arguably the best running tandem in the NFL in favor of Air-Newton. When you put the game in a young kid's hands like that he's going to make mistakes. And mistakes he did.

The Bucs were given this win on a silver platter because you guys didn't take us seriously. We got this one easy.

Stop bitching... the sky is not falling. You will wake up tomorrow and you will have a choice: look forward to next week like everyone else here or continue to act like an idiot. Your call.

-signed, the huddle's resident Bucs fan

PS- For those of you who don't know me, I'm a usual in the smack room. I'm sorry if anything I said was out of line given that this is general discussion but this dude seriously needs a slap upside the head.

I'm tired of accepting poor play as being 'ok' and just 'another game'.

Let's just throw in 'the other team practices too'.

I'm tired of the team I support constantly being another teams highlight reel.

It's opening game, opening game against a division opponent and this is the result?

I see two Panthers, Thomas Davis and Steve Smith, all heart. What about the rest? I don't know. I really don't.

There has been one constant in the Panthers organization since the late 90s outside of JR, If this season goes badly, the focus needs to go there.
