Your one "key to the game"

Field position. Which means Special Teams and turnovers. I don't know why, but Tampa is the one team where I feel if we win the field position battle, we win the game. If they do, they win the game. It doesn't always work that way but both teams are young enough where field position will make a huge difference.

Other than that, the player that is the key IMO is Jon Beason. He plays disciplined, it's 3 & out for the Bucs all day.

Long time lurker here..

To me the key will be our interior line play against what will likely be a run-heavy Bucs offense. Very interested in seeing whether or not Ron and Dwan Edwards are the answer.

Agree. Stop the run and make Freeman beat you.

Of course, Hardy has to seal the edge as well. We gave up a lot of yards to the outside last year.

Coaching...Rivera made some unfortunate calls last season...I'm looking for good play calling on offense and good clock management. This being an away game, it probably won't be a blow out. We need RR to be sharp in the 4thQ: using timeouts, challenges, and field position strategies that work.

Also...we need that damn special teams coach to motivate his players to cut off running lanes, make tackles, catch and block proficiently.

The buck stops with the coaches...the wins start with them.

Otherwise...our defense needs to play a complete game as a unit:

QB pressures, hits, sacks

get off the field on 3rd down

force turnovers

If one of these 3 areas is lacking...we could lose.
