Louis Murphy vs Tampa bay DEF

Keep Pounding

I would love to see Lafell and Murphy split time at the WR 2 spot. I think that may bring out the best in both and also show which one can be more productive. My money right now is on Murphy..

LaFell has been steadily doing exactly what you would want from a young WR. Improving. He wasn't drafted to be a Steve Smith type #1....

LaFell certainly seems to be taking the right steps to be a #2 WR. LaFell uses his body well in a variety of routes over what we have seen from Gettis in limited work. I don't see how people can be down on where he is currently at.

Everyone who isn't a Cam or AJ Green out of the gate isn't a disappointment.....LaFell seems to be right on pace to take another step forward this year as traditionally WRs do in year 3.

Murphy is faster....I like LaFell's progress better in becoming a NFL WR.

Also, dont forget....when it was the Jimmy Clausen show.....LaFell was probably the most productive WR. Not easy to make a play with Clausen on the field....ask Smitty

you know what i absolutely LOVE? that we are having discussions over which WR is going to help out the most beside smitty...and it isn't a discussion about keary colbert and drew carter!

it's a legit discussion over two very talented and young players that each bring something different to the team. i'm not going to choose a favorite between either of them because it's in my teams interest that they both succeed and i think both are entirely capable of doing so.

and then we haven't even brought up david gettis who i'm sure will be right back in the discussion when he gets back and then we've got other young guys like joe adams and pilares who both have a good bit of potential...i'm just loving it. people may be outside looking in saying that this is a pretty poor WR corps, but all i see is a lot of upcoming young talent who are quite capable of doing well with cam throwing to them.

I agree on Lafell. I would like to see them both get some good playing time. I think they both can contribute.

Any thoughts on the replacement refs for the Panthers game this Sunday? I thought they did just fine in the Giants/Cowboys game. But who know's what we'll have in Tampa...

Refs? Bwahaha. The game was blacked out in Tampa. Expect the bottom of the barrel crew.

Oh and keep hating on Lafell chuck, he's going to have a great year.

I agree....we easily could have the worst crew. Basically this game is only shown in Carolina.

Your right, I forgot about that. And they picked up Eric Wright that was on DET last year. I just read an article and it said they will use 3 safeties and 3 corners with Barber playing at the LOS and covering the slot as needed.

Well that throws my theory out the window, kind of.

If they do that, we will run the ball down their throats all game long.

I'll let the game tomrw speak for itself. Not going to win a silly argument with a bunch of homers who thinks they know fb more than Vince Lombardi.

Dnt come back tomrw and say we ran the ball too much for your excuses.

If y'all watch fb, y'all would know like I do that Lafell STRUGGLES TO GET SEPARATION CONSTANTLY.
