I think Olsen is definitely one of our biggest threats this year. With the heightened focus on tight ends in our offense since Chud took over and the fact that he's officially 'the guy' there now after letting Shockey go I expect 800 yards and 8 TDs atleast.

My my aren't we excited. I will refrain from the personal attack (as usual) and let the season play out to prove my point. Yet again.

I see Murphy flourishing in this offense and wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with better stats than LaFell.

In this Offense, Murphy does have a chance to shine. As Cam matures, his anticipation will only get better. Which will allow those alternate receivers a chance to flourish.

Once Cam's knowledge eclipses his talent. That is the time this Offense takes off. Not that it is not going to amaze in the mean time. Cam is still learning the why of the play. The how plays blend together with one leading to another.

Once the nuances are mastered. That will be the Cam that we are waiting for. And rivals fear.

Louis Murphy looks like a polished receiver. Naanee knew how to play the position, he just didn't have the talent to do so.

But I'm not at all surprised that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's gotta be tough watching those redskin receivers every year.

I was curious about the rushing vs passing because I remember us going heavy on the run vs TB last year. Based on the stats (see below), it was actually fairly balanced, but they gave up a lot more on the ground in the second game. It'll be interesting to see what the approach is this time.

My personal hunch is the Panthers are going to try and ground and pound with a few deep balls to keep the defense honest (classic Air Coryell style). Murphy is a speedster, so he might have a role in stretching the defense, but I suspect we are going to be more focused on the ground game tomorrow.

If they play a dime defense against us we will run for 200 yards. A dime is fine against a passing team like the Patriots but against us we will run all day. A dime means they have 3 linemen and 2 linebackers and the rest are corners and safeties. You really think they will be able to defend our running game? Seriously???

I swear some of you Carolina fans are p!#$$%!@. If I didn't know better you would think that sometime last week, we traded Cam and Luke for two players off the Bucs Cut roster. That Bill Bellicheat, had decided to retire in Fl, and was going to end his coaching career in Tampa.

I respect Tampa as an NFL Franchise, but I have seen nothing from them to indicate, that they are drastically better this year.

So I for one believe our victory will be big one, with plenty of footballs for the kids!!!
