I'm a little shocked at how many are picking us to lose. We just never get much love. I'm always a little worried at the start of a new season because you never really know what to expect, but I expect the Panthers To win this one.

I would not be surprised to see the bucs play well you guys. I really don't think they are nearly as bad of a team as they were last year. they have made significant upgrades at WR and G, and Got a pretty decent safety in Barron.

Everyone from what I have watched picks Tampa in the upset? Mark Schelereth on ESPN I think just picked Tampa as his upset. Not certain...someone just did

Several 'talking heads' have picked the Panthers to lose.

Maybe it's the lack of a pass rush and a mediocre and/or unproven secondary or Mcdermott and Tampa has vastly upgraded it's O line and receivers. Special teams, well, you all see it just like the media does.

I hope for the best. There is really no excuse for defense and special teams to be as bad as last year.

They need to come out and beat the living hell out of Tampa. Some people on this board say 'it's the first game blah blah blah'.

This game sets tempo, confidence, and a sense of urgency, something the Panthers have lacked for many years.

I say, if not now when, and if not Tampa then who.
