Maybe I'm wrong but I thought they could participate in all offseason activities and that suspensions started with game 1. I doubt very much if they'd be "jumping in". Then again it depends on how their team values them.

To be perfectly honest, the overturning of suspensions of the players actually hurts the Saints* more due to salary. Vilma is over the hill and Smith is inconsistent and both count quite a bit against the cap.

Jumping in without any offseason conditioning just means more chance that those players get injured. Sounds good to me. Saints* have the bounty on them this year.

Nope, the only suspension that began at week one was the GM. Everyone else was suspended immediately.
