i wonder how long before schiano goes out and gets "his" QB. you know it's going to happen. all new HCs do this unless they've got some spectacular QB entrenched in the role. freeman will be cast to the side while schiano tries to find his safe game manager QB.

It was broken down when we hired Rivera and the big "Cam" debate was going down. New HCs after 2 yrs max in a landslide got new starters pending they didn't have a QB that had a ring. Big sample size was used.

Really depends on what type of offense he wants to run and whether or not he thinks Freeman can run it. Huge year for Freeman's future, IMO.

yep. as good as freeman could be, he might not fit what schiano wants to do on offense. he may not be as good as schiano wants there. he might look at the QBs coming out next year and see that since they are going to be picking early and they have some good QBs coming out he might want to pick one that is more his ideal rather than raheem morris' ideal.

this year is essentially freeman's audition for the rest of his time with schiano. if he doesn't do as well as schiano likes....esp. after being in the league a few years, he could be on the bench or out looking for his next job.
