I find it interesting that Derrick Brooks who has been elevated to God like status by Bucs fans was on NFL Sirius this morning picking Carolina over the Bucs on Sunday. He said that there were a lot of questions about whether a first year coach trying to install a new offense and a new defense in the first game of the year could avoid having lapses and gaps against an offense that went through all that last year and will only be better this year. Plus he was of course excited about our linebacker corps which he said was outstanding. He noted that without the injuries we would have been even better than we were last year. And even with that, the Panthers outscored the Bucs by a large margin..

He said it would have been easy to be the homer and pick Tampa but as an analyst he needed to be more objective and Carolina was the better team at this point in the year. Who knows down the road.......

When a career Buc hall of famer picks the opponent over his home team, it is pretty obvious that it isn't even close.

How is ANY season opener opponent overlooked by any team?

They aren't.

This isn't a trap game. It's not possible for it to be a trap game.

Well played. 13 pages before you say what you mean. Its is a trap games to you. To compensate for your fear of the impending beatdown. The only way we lose, is if we overlook you. So you call trap game to justify your hope. I admire your... well, we can leave it at that. So you got aggravated at having to even remind someone, which just had to hurt.

I would love to wish you well, just not going to happen. I could care less about Tampa, been there and hope to never return, it is the bux I have a problem rooting for. They have deserved their fate. Until they change their culture. They will remain a laughing stock.

Great tradition is awesome. bux tradition is the epitome of the 1 hit wonder. Laughingstock before, laughing stock after. At least you have those couple good years to hold you over.

17 years is a little young to be having HOFers. They will come, just like yours. However, I do applaud your ability to use your points both for, and against, your jabs. Cool work when you can get it.
