Is Schiano Fox 2.0?

Instead of comparing Shinola to a guy who can actually coach, I'd rather add him to the list of college coaches who couldn't get it done in the NFL.

this.

and the list goes on....

as far as the successful ones? harbaugh, coughlin, jimmy johnson....and that's about it.

i just don't see schiano being one of those success stories.

harbaugh was an anomaly as a rookie CH coming from the college level. he had pro-level credentials as a player and as a coach before going to the pros and the guy is just an unbelievable coach at any level. there was a reason that he was so hyped and sought after. he's just that good.

schiano is just some coach that was average at the college level...and not even at the most competitive level in college ball. he was an after-thought that got a job after a lot of people turned it down.

I hope so I mean think about it. Fox 1.0 = Incomplete Pass to the left on 1 and 10 run up the middle on 2 and 10 run up the middle on 3 and 8 then you punt the ball. So is fox 2.0 gunna be pass to the right on 1 and 10 run up the middle on 2 and 10 sacked for a loss on 3 and 10 then punt ftw?

you dont even know what you're talking about, the only coach offered a job on your list was Butch Davis and he is currently a bucs coach. Just shows how you dont know what you speak of.

lol i know that's what it looks like i was trying to say but i was responding to someone else's post and ended up going on a tangent and the thoughts got jumbled. i fixed it. following is the way it should have been understood and the way i meant it.

but, but, but, this is the bux. Surely they can get this right? Wasn't shiano the first guy they interviewed? Must have been the guy they were looking to to turn that disfunctional mess around?

You don't just give some guy off the street the job do you? Well, maybe the bux do. But any team with a brain that works, would probably go with a coach, you know, that could actually win consistently? Or did all those guys turn the job down as well?

I see the bux as much more progressive than Fox. These college coaches are geniuses.

run-run-screen-punt. Those screen passes can be deadly when run correctly.

Laughtingstock=bux.
