Kinda surprised soldier Winslow didn't fit in there, with the "deploying the troops" stuff.

Schiano sounds like an okay guy. How he'll be as a coach is anybody's guess at this point.

And as for you guys worried about the secondary, you might want to have a bit more faith this week, as I don't think Freeman quite has the new system figured out yet. Now next week, yeah, I'm gonna be worried too.

I think he's legitimately worried (who wouldn't be?). He said it well. Cam is a monster to gameplan for. Then, after you think you have a decent idea of how you want to play Cam as the individual, you have to fit THAT into your scheme for the REST of the offense! That is a pain in the ass for me to think about, and I'm a defensive-minded guy. Maybe a TAD bit of coach speak, just to keep the status quo.

The best way to play Cam is to rush 4 and drop 7, just like the Viking, Titians, and Jags did.

But, now that we have a more than capable fullback in Tolbert, that might not work as good as it did last year.

To a degree, he is better prepared to deal with Cam than probably any NFL coach has....considering he is coming straight from college where the duel threat spread option QB is pretty much everywhere. Most coaches last year hadn't done much of that in some time if at all in recent times

That would mean he goes man coverage then smith will be in the end zone all day.

exactly. Schiano had a digital clock installed in the locker room a few months ago that counts down to the milisecs and it has the oanthers logo next to it. It will change every week but since he got ti Tampa, his 1stit and only job was/is to beat the panthers in week 1.

This is shaping up to be a trap game for the panthers which will turn this board inside out come monday.
