The KP Predictions

As the season approaches I feel the need to step out on a limb and put my predictions on record. Tear them
apart and bump the thread in December. I follow the NFL as closely as any expert but with less access.
Do your worst.

-Your Super Bowl Champion is the New York Giants

-The Panthers, Giants, Packers, Bears,49ers, and Lions make the playoffs

-The Patriots, Broncos, Ravens, Texans, Bills, and Bengals make the playoffs

-Peyton Manning will be a shell of his former self but still do just enough to make the playoffs

-Tom Brady wins MVP

-JPP is your Defensive player of the year

-Andrew Luck runs away with Offensive Rookie of the Year TBD

-Luke Kuechly wins defensive rookie of the year in a close battle with Chandler Jones

-The Panthers win the NFC South with a 9-7 record

-The Panthers go 4-2 in the division

-Steve Smith, Ryan Kalil, Cam Newton, Mike Tolbert, Charles Johnson, and Chris Gamble make the Pro Bowl

-Cam runs for fewer yards and TD this season

-Cam throws for the same yards on fewer passes this season

-Cam will throw 11 interceptions this year

-Joe Adams will return our first punt for Touchdown since 2005

-The Panthers Defense finishes 14th in yards and 12th in points

-The Panthers Offense finishes 3rd in Rushing yards and 5th in scoring

-Thomas Davis and Jon Beason will miss time but neither finishes the season on Injured Reserve


Anyone can say "I knew that was going to happen" in week 15. Be a MAN! Make it official before Wednesday.

Stopped reading after that. Just kidding, I read it all, but Mike Tolbert making the pro bowl? That's silly. He's going to be splitting carries with Cam, Dwill and Stew. I expect him to get 5-7 touches a game. He'd have to do miraculous things with each time he gets the ball all season to make the probowl. Not likely.

They are hands down the best team in the AFC East. I can't see the Jets, Bills, Phins beating them out.

Well, it's easy to predict a winning season when most of your opponents consist of Cub Scout packs! On paper at least, they play the easiest schedule in the league (or so I've been told).

If you look at the Patriots schedule it's easy to see why they are favored. Tough games at home, cup cakes on the road. It would take a collapse of epic proportions to miss the playoffs.
