Protecting Beason from himself

We all saw this same scenario last season. Beason had a bad wheel. Missed the entire preseason. Practiced right before the game with Arizona. Played about half of the game...then blew out his tire.

So it's the same again this year. I hope we bring him along more slowly and use him in situations as we are now doing with Thomas Davis. I think in the long run this will help prevent another crushing injury to Beason and will allow us to have our leader throughout the season.

Agree? Disagree?

Disagree...he has been taking it slow. Our defense will be really good with Beason in the middle and Clark kent on the weak side. I can't wait to see it on Sunday! Achilles and hamstrings are different. He will be fine, but if not, he won't be the first injury prone MLB from the U we have had around here. Worst case scenario Luke would move to the middle and he and TD can split time on the weak side.

Lets hope that we don't have to have them to a great extent in this game and both Beas and TD can come along slow.

I think they will last longer if they don't have be in there every every down.. A win in Tampa and us coming out healthy would be awesome.

Gooo Panthers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hamstrings and Achilles are different of course. But it has been stated that Beason has been overcompensating for the weak Achilles...which has strained another part of the leg. I just want him to be fully recovered 100%...no issues...zip...none....before he's in a starting role...
