Need to have 4 RBs

Should have just kept Smith on the team. Would rather have that extra RB that's not Tolbert, but other than that the 53 man roster looks pretty solid to me.

Staying healthy, my favorite roster talent wise in the history of the team.

I would like to have a 3rd RB on the roster, I'd also like to have a starting caliber CB...

Who says we need 4?

If DWill, Stew and Tolbert all go down in one game, throw Pilares out there to get through the rest of the game, then promote Smith from the PS during the following week, and pick up one of the hundreds of UDFA floating around out there without a team.

If Williams and Stewart and Tolbert all went down....,you spread teams out and just use a TE in a H back role like we often did last year. Short pass would be your run game and Cam scrambling. Cam owns the goaline regardless.

Then you activate someone from the PS the next week. No biggie.

Haven't read the thread, but anyone who said having Cam is like having a 4th RB is a fool.

Not the same.

Totally different.

But how Carolina can generate their rushing attack is totally different than any team in the NFL.

Running game's basically plug and play at this point.

I seriously doubt any team is stupid enough to stack the box against Cam. Actually I hope they are that stupid. I'd like to see a lot of deep TD passes to LaFell, Smith and Olsen this year.

I'd add Murphy to the mix for the deep ball. He seems like a speedy and physical receiver who could definitely have big plays for us this year. Similar to Pilares he needs to improve the route running but he's further along than anyone minus Smitty as a consistent deep ball threat. Could be Torrey Smith like for us if he really blows up

If you make a statement like that, include who we should cut--it makes everyone think within the framework of the choices. I think we should always keep our 3rd rb and 3rd QB on the PS. RBs are easy to plug in and if you are down to your 3rd QB, you are screwed anyway.
