Nice thread. I was thinking about this earlier. Has anyone said Jarret Bush? He has been locked in as the nickel corner out in a pretty solid GB secondary since we cut him in 2006 as an UDFA. The other DTs and Mathis were nice players but Bush has always been the player I see play and wish we could have kept him.

Once again though, nobody is losing their job over cutting a UDFA nickel corner.

Are you sure? If I remember correctly, Davis was drafted as a Safety to play LB the year after Spoon left. Anderson was a third rounder, I think? I wouldn't consider that as replacing Spoon.
