The whole point of this thread is discussing hindsight. If it isn't then you should clarify your topic because this is getting really annoying.

The point of the thread is state at the time the decisions to cut players when we did, were all good choices at the time and and if any were even questionable you would have had to known things like Jenkins would sour on Fox and demand a trade.

I wanted to establish the first part to point out that if history repeats itself then the Mcclain cut is nothing to complain about for any reason.

Mathis, haye, and brown were nothing resembling starters when they left here. Derek Landri on the other hand had started some and played fairly well and could have been kept around for something resembling the minimum at a positon of need. That one kind of bugs me.

It really is only Haye and Brown, who were never all world. They were better than the DT's since 2008. Spoon wasn't cut, Moose died in CHI. Evan Mathis is a Pro Bowler I guess, goddamn he sucked here. Pretty good argument that the scrubs that we cut are in fact scrubs and will always be.
