Don't know how anyone can bitch about a guy that should help our STs unit. Yeah, he probably wont be able to play on D, but who cares!? As long as he does his job (STs) then there shouldn't be a cause for concern.

Other than making FG's in key situations, I still think we will still have one of the worst ST in the league unfortunately, I don't know what needs to be done I'm not a GM, but def something and fast. Jones is a guy who runs fast and likes to hit can, uh that can only help in this game we call Football.

You basically use your late rounders for ST anyways so I like the move. From the guys we have now looking at our 53 if we don't improve very soon Murph needs to get axed. He won't though that's now how Big Cat does business.

According to a couple of posts on a SF board. I guess he was pretty active on the coverage teams against the Saints* in that Playoff game. He was in on just about each tackle.

He also recovered a fumble in that game on the punt return by Sproles.

Here's hope'n he works out and helps out where we need him to.

Give Murphy another year and if by the end of the season ST still sucks despite investment, go a different direction. What's wrong with that plan?

Well, Carolina has neglected certain things for years....not that easy to solve them all overnight

Tell me who on the ST coverage squad come week 1...

now i certainly cant name hem all but i can name a few.. tolbert, senn, onatlu, jones, martin, nakamura, probably jason phillips, pilares not sure about the couple others// should be 3 left. i believe munnerlynn should be on every ST unit but i don't believe he is. i dont think it'll be that bad honestly. that last game we didnt have normal st only have were from the normal unit. wait til the reg season to panic guys
