If they believe that thy have good potentia but need some time to develop, you don't want to let teams see them in preseason. Otherwise, WR depleted teams like the Dolphins would likely claim them.

Keep them under wraps and then stash them on the practice squad.

Hurney was all over him when he missed that potential TD catch. Saying that he has improved, but not enough. He said that he ha o make those type of catches.

LaMont Bryant might be the most overhyped player ever on the Huddle and that's saying something. What exactly has he done to deserve such hype? He caught one fluke TD pass from Clausen against a D.B. that I'm sure has now been cut by the Steelers.

He has done nothing to be honest. The excitement over him comes from his potential. He gives us the type of receiver that we need and that we haven't had. He is a big dude, with a good vertical, good hands, can catch the ball in coverage and is fast. That is what is exciting about him. You are allowed to get excited over somebody even if they haven't done anything. Believe it or not.
