Are there any first time home buyer credit in 2012?

I'm pretty sure that ended in April 2010. There might be some through a builder, but I think now if they do that, they have to offer it to everyone. Predatory Lending Laws as they are now.

Someone on here works or worked for a lender. They can better asnwer this question. I know when I bought my condo in December of 2010 they had been over for like 6 months.

Real Estate agent told me that the state of north carolina got some deals for first time home buyers through certain programs. Also, I heard some banks would offer up to $5,000 in cash if I'd use em as my lander.

Usually the cash offers from the bank are tied to higher rates. You can get negative closing costs if you take a higher than market rate on teh mortgage.

Just watch the fine print and ask a lot of questions.

Dude, I'm not kidding, you need to get a good real estate agent.

Not a friend, parent, buddy or cousin, a good agent, if it's not too late in your transaction.

If you don't have a buyers agent by now, your builder will most likely not pay one, and you would have to pay them. If that's the case, then it's just too late.

Not any programs out there really as far as first time buyers.

As for the banks, you need to shop around and get a good deal, if you don't have the $$$ for closing costs, roll it into the cost of the home. If the house was 200K, and you have 4,500 in CC, make the sale price 204,500 and have your portion come out of the closing.
